Poople Troubleshooting: Loading, Keyboard, Words, and Stats

Most Poople problems come from a blocked third-party frame, an invalid one-letter transition, stale browser data, or a permission affecting the clipboard. Work from page loading to input, then storage.

Guide step 01

When the embedded game stays blank

Reload the page once and wait for the player’s loading panel to clear. Content blockers, strict tracking protection, school or workplace filters, and DNS tools can block scripts used by the external game.

Reload the page after checking content blockers and browser privacy settings. If the player remains blank, the issue may be limited to cross-site embedding or a browser extension rather than the puzzle itself.

Guide step 02

When a word is rejected

Compare the proposed word with the accepted row directly above it. Exactly three positions must stay the same and one position must change.

A spelling can satisfy the one-letter pattern and still be rejected when it is not in the game’s accepted dictionary. Try a more common four-letter bridge instead of repeating the same submission.

  • Confirm that all four letter slots are filled.
  • Check that only one position changed.
  • Use Backspace and type a familiar alternative.
  • Avoid proper names, abbreviations, and unusual inflections.
Guide step 03

When keyboard or touch input does not respond

Click or tap inside the game board before typing so the iframe has focus. On mobile, use the on-screen keyboard supplied by the game rather than relying on the system keyboard to open.

Close any modal covering the board, including How to play, Stats, or Yesterday’s answer. Then return to the empty row and enter the next word.

Guide step 04

When stats disappear or copying fails

Stats are tied to local browser storage. Confirm that the same browser profile is being used and that site data was not cleared after the previous puzzle.

Clipboard policies can be stricter inside an embedded player. If Copy results reports an error, open the original game in a new tab and repeat the copy action after a fresh user click.
